Turtles are now officially part of the Minecraft ecosphere

Latest updates/news about Minecraft: Turtles are now officially part of the Minecraft ecosphere. After making their debut, their nests will start appearing on the beaches of various biomes and baby turtles will soon be spotted trying to get down to the water´s edge. Each world within Minecraft is divided into different environments and climates referred to as biomes.

As of December 2017 their final texture was still a work in progress. Turtles will start making themselves at home in Minecraft´s worlds in early 2018 alongside the rest of the Aquatic update.

For anyone interested in what Minecraft has planned for this coming year, a few of the Minecraft crew will be present at a major gaming expo. Mincecraft´s lead creative designer Jens will give a presentation at the PC Gamer Weekender in London February 17th-18th. This event takes place at the Olympia and will feature currently trending games as well as classic arcade games on the floor. For those less interested in just playing the games there will be career advise related to the gaming industry, a workshop teaching how to build a PC, interviews with some of the major figures in the gaming industry, as well as a chance to meet the team behind PC gamer magazine and their website. Minecraft fans can also look forward to a presentation about the exhilarating robot-blasting, multiplayer game cobalt WASD, which visitors will have the opportunity to try out on the floor.

Rumor has it there will be fun tournaments, so come and test your skill and maybe even win some of the prizes up for grabs. Minecraft is graciously providing players with the opportunity to play cobalt WASD this weekend, Jan 19th-21st on Steam.

If you have a chance to visit this expo, it should be worth it, not just for you Minecraft fanatics out there.
